Microphysical, Macrophysical, and Radiative Signatures of Volcanic Aerosols in Trade Wind Cumulus observed by the A-Trai

This study investigates the effects of volcanic aerosols on trade wind cumulus clouds using observations from the A-Train satellite constellation. The study examines the impact of aerosols on cloud microphysics, macrophysical properties, and radiative properties. It also analyzes the intermingling of aerosols and clouds, volcano plumes, and the influence of meteorological factors. The findings provide insights into the modification of trade cumulus microphysics, changes in precipitation, and increases in cloud coverage.
