This study focuses on the preparation of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for the selective adsorption of albumin from aqueous solutions. We outline the properties of albumin, including its half-life and concentration in human serum, and detail the materials and methods used for MIP fabrication. Experimental results demonstrate the selectivity of various MIP formulations characterized by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Notably, the DMAPMA-TEGDMA MIP exhibited superior selectivity ratios, making it a promising candidate for future applications in biomedical and analytical fields.
