Faithfulness = Consistently Dependable. God is faithful to us – He loves, provides, helps, forgives us without fail. We must be faithful to God – We must love, obey, serve Him. When we are faithful to others we are faithful to God . (Proverbs). God’s Faithfulness (and Love).

  1. Faithfulness = Consistently Dependable God is faithful to us – He loves, provides, helps, forgives us without fail. We must be faithful to God – We must love, obey, serve Him. When we are faithful to others we are faithful to God. (Proverbs)

  2. God’s Faithfulness (and Love) (Numbers 23:19) Does he [God] speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? (Psalms 145:13-15) The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. …{15} The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. (Psalms 108:4) For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. (Deuteronomy 7:9) …he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.

  3. God’s Faithfulness in Trials (Lamentations 3:22-24) Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. {23} They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. {24} I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him."

  4. God’s Faithfulness – New Testament (1 Corinthians 10:13) God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. (2 Thessalonians 3:3) But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. (2 Timothy 2:13) …if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

  6. Faithful in Marriage (Titus 1:6) An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife. (Proverbs 31:10-11) A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. {11} Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.

  7. Rewards of the Faithful God protects the faithful (Proverbs 2:8) …He protects the way of his faithful ones. Favor with God and man (Proverbs 3:3-4) Let love and faithfulness never leave you…{4} Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Faithful leaders are Secure (Proverbs 20:28) Love and faithfulness keep a king safe; through love his throne is made secure. God blesses the faithful(Proverbs 28:20) A faithful man will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.

  8. God, Ministry, Faithfulness, Rewards (1 Corinthians 4:2) Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. (1 Timothy 1:12) I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service. (Matthew 25:23) "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' (Revelation 2:10) Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.
