The Planet • Saturn is a light weight planet • It spins so fast, that it’s not perfectly round • Saturn is the least dense planet • It is made of mostly hydrogen and helium • Saturn does not have as much gravity as Earth • Saturn is the second largest planet and is a Gas Giant like Jupiter • Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun

  4. The Rings • Saturn is well-known for its rings • Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune also have rings • Saturn’s rings are 160,800 miles wide • The rings are very thin • The rings are made of ice, dust and rocks
