  1. IEDSSMonthly May 2019 IEDSS Is Heading toward Wave 1 Wave 1 7/29/19 • Regions 1, 2, 3 and 4 are going live on July 29, 2019. • We wanted to take this time to share that there are many resources available to you as you prepare to use IEDSS in your region: • Site Support: Onsite a few weeks prior to “go-live” and approximately six weeks after. This is a group of people who will be available to answer questions and assist with the new system. • Command Center: A centralized support team that will help solve issues, provide a status on tickets that have been created and address escalated issues. • Thank you for everything you do! We look forward to Wave 1 rollout!

  2. IEDSSMonthly May 2019 IEDSS Wave 1 Training • Thank you for your lightening fast enrollments! • There are over 1,800 registered to date. • Eligibility and specialty course classroom training begins May 13 and ends July 25 with a total of 10 weeks of training and 83 sessions. The following locations will have Wave 1 classroom training: Marion, Beech Grove, South Bend, Crown Point, West Lafayette, Fort Wayne, Jeffersonville, Terre Haute and New Castle. Questions? Please email IEDSSTransformationTeam@deloitte.com or reach out to your management team for more info.

  3. IEDSSMonthly May 2019 Interim Conversion • Question: How do I request Interim Conversion? • Answer: On the File Clearance – Results page, select “Yes” for the question Mark for Interim Conversion?  When this is done, a task is generated for the Interim Conversion team to convert the individual in the next Interim Conversion batch. Once the Interim Conversion is completed, the worker who requested conversion will receive a task informing them that they can resume processing the application in IEDSS. • Question: How can I check the status of an Interim Conversion request? • Answer: The Interim Conversion sub-module, located in the Conversion module, allows you to search for the conversion status of an individual using the Person ID. Enter the person ID of the client you have requested for conversion, then click SEARCH. The search results will indicate whether or not Interim Conversion has been requested or if the client is already converted.

  4. IEDSSMonthly May 2019 Hot Topic: CSCD Tips/Tricks • This field displays on most pages and is mandatory when displayed. • When a new CSCD is entered to an already-existing record, IEDSS creates a historical record by ending the previous record and populating an End Date. If the CSCD is not updated, the historical record will not be created. • If changed, this field cannot be more than eight weeks in the future. • Change the CSCD only for an actual change in client circumstance. (For example, do not change the CSCD when correcting misspellings.) • Three months prior to Application File Date (when adding new information during Intake mode). • Question: What is the CSCD in IEDSS? • Answer: This date in IEDSS documents when case information is added or changed. It also creates historical records in Data Collection. Quick Tip: If, while performing a change on a case, you need to change the CSCD to capture earlier data, IEDSS allows you to change it. Generally, however, the CSCD will be changed to the current or a future date.
