Current New Jersey Plans • NJEDge is currently planning a next generation regional optical network that will support global collaborations and allow NJ researchers to successfully compete for federal research funding. • Working with the NJPC to develop a research agenda for the state that will provide advanced technology infrastructure that supports research and development opportunities between academia and industry. • Next generation infrastructure is needed to stimulate the economy and provide NJ with a competitive advantage.
