Christianity, founded around 2000 years ago, is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. With 2 billion followers, it is the main religion in Europe and the Americas. Christians believe in one God and the Bible is their holy book. They believe Jesus died for the sins of humankind and in life after death in Heaven. Christians worship in churches and their holy day is Sunday.

  7. GOD Christians believe in one God (they are monotheistic), the god of Abraham.

  8. Symbol • The Cross • Is a symbol of victory over death, promising eternal life

  9. Holy Book The Christian Holy book is called the Bible. It has 2 parts.
