The highlights are the following: • BHS Open House: 19 September 2013 • Color Guard: 27 September 2013 • JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl • (JLAB) Practice Round: 1-22 October 2013 • Fall Festival: 5 October 2013 • Color Guard: 18 October 2013 • College Fair : 22 October 20113 • Color Guard: 25 October 2013 • LRC: 29 October 2013 • Color Guard: 1 November 2013 • JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl • (JLAB) Level One: 1-15 November 2013 • Election Day: 5 November 2013 • Veteran’s Day Celebration: 11 November 2013 • Color Guard: 15 November 2013 • USS Nautilus Field Trip: 13 December 2013 • Food Drive: 9-20 December 2013 • Essay Contest: 16 Dec 2013 – 17 Jan 2014 Welcome back cadets and family members. We have an exciting schedule planned for this school year and we can not wait to get started . During last year , BHS JROTC program received an Honor Unit with Distinction rating once again. This means our JROTC program is in the top 5% out of 1600 JROTC programs world-wide. This is a significant accomplishment that every cadet should be very proud of themselves. JCLC Graduates are: K’Vhan Gordon, Maurice Savage, Chancee Williams, Stephanie Gonzalez, Diana Santos, Jaleel Williams, Jerome Betsey, Lucas Samuals, Lachavis Simmons and Paul May. All of our cadets performed exceedingly well and were recognized with the coveted JCLC Arc Pin for their outstanding performance.
