AgID – Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale • AgID(Agenzia per l’ItaliaDigitale) is responsible for the coordination of the innovative activities in order to promote ICT technologies in the Italian Public Administrations • It also promises the realization of the objectives of the Italian Digital Agenda consistent with the Digital Agenda for Europe • AgID and GS1 Italy collaborate in order to allocate a GS1 GLN code to all Italian Public Administrations

  15. eINVOICING towards PAs • In Italy, electronicinvoicestowards Public Administrations are mandatory from June 2014 • The identification code needed for invoicing and receiving of an electronicinvoiceis the CODICE IPA (IPA Code) or VAT RegistrationNumber • The electronicinvoices use the XML language
