  2. Objective • To effectively and efficiently conserve energy and momentum. • To be a true Gator-Hator.

  3. Materials & Design • PVC Pipe and Elbows • Bucket • Gator Sacrifice • Orange Duct Tape • String - Free • Pulleys - Free • Scrap Wood – Free (Thanks to Lowe’s trash can) • Ball Bearing - Free • Spray Paint - Free

  4. Process • Ball Bearing released from rest at top • Changes direction from pipe onto wooden track. • Ball knocks bucket off end of track. • Weight of bucket raises the Gator.

  5. Conclusion • Direction and Velocities change at first impact (from pipe to track). • Momentum and Energy is conserved at second impact (bucket/ball collision). • Gator is successfully terminated!!
