  3. Research Paper • Thesis: Photography has many different aspects, including a meaningful and interesting history. For those wishing to pursue photography as a career, there are many techniques to master, but also many careers available for a skilled photographer.

  4. Physical Project • Taking pictures at a variety of locations • Techniques, Lighting, Editing • Everything depends on the type of camera you have

  7. Shutter Speed & Aperture • When something is in motion • Higher the shutter speed the more clear your picture will turn out • Lower less clear • Lighting • Smaller more light • Bigger less light

Camera Settings • P-Program Mode: Similar to Full Auto, sets everything for you • TV- Shutter Priority: You set your shutter speed and the camera sets your aperture • AV- Aperture Priority: You set your Aperture and the camera sets your shutter speed • M- Manual: You have full control of both your shutter speed and your aperture

  9. Cleaning your Camera • You never want to touch the mirror after you take the lens off • Send it off to a company to clean it • You don’t want to take your lens off for too long it can collect dust or dirt

  10. Rules of Composition • There are many rules of composition to follow that adds interest • In photography you can break the rules, but before you break them you have to know them

  17. Mentor • Mentor: Ian Riley • He has been a photographer pretty much all of his life • He has been in the business for 6 years • He taught me what really catches peoples attention (angles, lighting)

  18. Conclusion • I have enjoyed my project • Time Consuming • Maybe as a hobby, or to make some extra money • Sticking to my career in the medical field
