TIPS FOR FINDING YOUR FIRST APARTMENT

Find a property near to campus. That’s particularly necessary for freshman students, who just started their way.<br>Choose a rental housing property, which best fits your requirements instead of just a “box” in which to live.<br>Ask how the model rental apartment shown differs from the one you will rent.<br>Take a tour on the property and make sure the rest of the property is also meet you criteria's from the parts shown to you by the leasing consultant.<br>Drive around at night to make sure it is the type of environment in which you will feel comfortable living.<br>Read the lease because it is a binding document and represent a long term commitment.<br>Monthly rent. Ask what all included in your monthly rent (e.g. cable, utilities, etc.) and make sure to plan for any costs that are not included.<br>Time to campus. Make the trip to campus from the property to see how much time the trip takes and whether you can walk/bike to campus.
