  3. The last days are described as difficult days by Paul. (2 Tim 3:1 NIV) "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days."

  4. The last days are described as difficult days by Paul. (2 Tim 3:2 NKJV) For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

  5. The last days are described as difficult days by Paul. (2 Tim 3:3-5 NKJV) unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, {4} traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

  6. The last days are described as difficult days by Paul. (2 Tim 3:5 NKJV) having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"

  7. What problems will be caused by the terrible times?

  8. The terrible times will include severe persecution (Mat 24:9 NKJV) ""Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you,and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.

  9. The terrible times will include severe persecution (Mat 24:10-11 NKJV) "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.{11} "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

  10. The terrible times will include severe persecution (Mat 24:12 NKJV) "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold."

  11. But why the warning?

  12. But why the warning? So that we won’t think it strange when we must suffer for doing good.

  13. So that we won’t think it strange when we must suffer for doing good. (1 Pet 4:12 NKJV) "Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you,as though some strange thing happened to you;

  14. So that we won’t think it strange when we must suffer for doing good. (1 Pet 4:13 NKJV) but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy."

  15. So that we can fortify our minds to be prepared, so we can be saved. (Mat 24:12-13 NKJV) ""And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.{13} "But he who endures to the end shall be saved."

  16. So that we can fortify our minds to be prepared, so we can be saved. We need to prepare ourselves, and we need to warn others.

  17. What will people’s behavior be like in the last days.

  18. What will people’s behavior be like in the last days. (Mat 24:37 NKJV) ""But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

  19. What will people’s behavior be like in the last days. (Mat 24:38 NKJV) "For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,

  20. What will people’s behavior be like in the last days. (Mat 24:39 NKJV) "and did not know until the flood came and took them all away,so also will the coming of the Son of Man be."

  21. What will people’s behavior be like in the last days. They were acting as if nothing unusual was going to happen.

  22. What will people’s behavior be like in the last days. All of this was going on while Noah was preaching with his actions and his teaching.

  23. What will people’s behavior be like in the last days. We need to respond by giving warning to the world around us.

  24. We need to respond by giving warning to the world around us. (Ezek 33:7 NKJV) ""So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.

  25. We need to respond by giving warning to the world around us. (Ezek 33:8 NKJV) "When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you shall surely die!' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way,

  26. We need to respond by giving warning to the world around us. (Ezek 33:8 NKJV) that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

  27. We need to respond by giving warning to the world around us. (Ezek 33:9 NKJV) "Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul."

  28. So we need to teach and to warn others as we have the opportunity. (Ezek 33:9 NKJV) "Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul."

  29. We are responsible to teach, not to convert! (Ezek 33:9 NKJV) "Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul."

  30. Jesus had an urgency about Him as He lived here on earth. (Ezek 33:9 NKJV) "Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul."

  31. Jesus had an urgency about Him as He lived here on earth. (John 9:4 NKJV) ""I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work."

  32. Paul said, “knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.” (2 Cor 5:10 NKJV) "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

  33. Paul said, “knowing the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.” (2 Cor 5:11 NKJV) Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men."

  34. How will the “last days” end?

  35. How will the “last days” end? According to Paul, it will be frightful

  36. According to Paul, it will be frightful (2 Th 1:6 NKJV) "since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,

  37. According to Paul, it will be frightful (2 Th 1:7 NKJV) and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,

  38. According to Paul, it will be frightful (2 Th 1:8 NKJV)in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospelof our Lord Jesus Christ.

  39. According to Paul, it will be frightful (2 Th 1:9 NKJV) These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lordand from the glory of His power,

  40. According to Paul, it will be frightful (2 Th 1:10 NKJV) when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed."

  41. According to Revelation, it will be frightful (Rev 6:12 NKJV) "I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

  42. According to Revelation, it will be frightful (Rev 6:13 NKJV) And the stars of heaven fell to the earth,as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.

  43. According to Revelation, it will be frightful (Rev 6:14 NKJV) Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

  44. According to Revelation, it will be frightful (Rev 6:15 NKJV) And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, ""

  45. According to Revelation, it will be frightful (Rev 6:16 NKJV) and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

  46. According to Revelation, it will be frightful (Rev 6:17 NKJV)) "For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?""

  47. The church has a mission. It is to minister and to teach! Will the Lord find us watching and ready when He comes.

  48. (Luke 18:6-8 NASB) "And the Lord said, "Hear what the unrighteous judge said; {7} now shall not God bring about justice for His elect, who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? Will the Lord find us watching and ready when He comes.

  49. (Luke 18:8 NASB) {8} "I tell you that He will bring about justice for them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"“ Will the Lord find us watching and ready when He comes.

  50. (Mark 13:35 NKJV) ""Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming; in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning; Jesus warn us to watch, and be ready, and not to fall asleep.
