Proudly rooted in Norfolk, I have dedicated my life to education and sports. I was born and raised here, attending local schools before pursuing higher education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. After earning my Master's from the University of Northern Colorado, I began my teaching career, which spans over three decades. I’ve coached various sports for many years and cherish my roles as both teacher and mentor. Outside of academics, I enjoy golfing, biking, watching good movies, and cuddling with my beloved schnauzer, Alfie.

I am a true Norfolk person. I was born at Lutheran community hospital, went to Northern Hills and Westside elementary schools. My junior high for 7-8-9 was NJHS and graduated from Norfolk Senior high I attended Kearney State College(University of Nebraska at Kearney). I made college a five year plan of study and during those years played varsity basketball for the college and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. I took a year off from teaching and received my Masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I am presently in my thirty first year of teaching—two at the elementary level and twenty-nine at the junior high.
Besides teaching I was also a coach. I coached basketball for thirty years, track for eighteen, and volleyball for fifteen.
