The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a vital component of UTSA's SACS-COC reaffirmation process, occurring every decade. UTSA's QEP, titled "Quantitative Scholarship: From Literacy to Mastery," emphasizes the interpretation and understanding of data without the addition of more math courses. Existing undergraduate courses will be redesigned to enhance data literacy. Be prepared for the SACS review team visit on March 23-25, 2010, as they may ask random questions about the QEP during their campus review.

What does that mean? Quantitative Scholarship means understanding and interpreting data. It is NOT math and will NOT add more courses to the degree. Existing undergraduate courses will be redesigned to focus on understanding and interpreting data.
During their campus visit, the SACS review team may stop people at random and ask you basic information about the QEP.
