  4. Warm-Up: I Am Poem • Select one team member to read the “I Am” poem • Please share one message/idea from this poem that resonates with you • How does the use of the “I am” poem or a similar activity support our teaching and student learning?

  6. Share EL Strategy Implementation • Write down one EL strategy that you have implemented since the beginning of the 2010-11 school year • In your table teams, share your strategy with colleagues • Select a spokesperson • Spokesperson reports your group’s discussion to the entire group

ELD Standards-based Report Card • Review the ELD Standards-based Report Card • Select the intermediate language proficiency levels • Highlight the performance indicators that are relevant to your subject area • Complete the 3-2-1 Go graphic organizer on page 16 • Share your responses on the 3-2-1 Go graphic organizer with an elbow partner
