  1. The Christmas Carol Sing off: Option A: cue up a bunch of Christmas carols in your computer or mp3 player. Divide the group up into teams. Play the carols randomly and have the groups race to chime in and guess the name of the carol. (you can use pans and wooden spoons as buzzers)

  2. Option B: Divide the group up in teams and see which can write down all twelve days of Christmas in the correct order first. The first team to yell done (or the team which has the most at the end of time) is the winner but must sing the answers so they can be checked to see if they are right.***No Smart Phones***

  3. 1. Do you find it difficult to tell people about Jesus? If so why? If not share how you would go about it. 2. If someone had asked you this morning ‘who was Jesus?’ what would you have said?

  4. 3. Why do you think the life of one man has had such an impact on the world, whether you believe he was God or not? 4. What is an area of your life personally, that would be different if Jesus never came?

  5. 5. How do you feel about the idea that Jesus was either bad, mad, or God (Or a liar, a Lunatic, or Lord)? Explain.

  6. Read: Micah 5:2, Isaiah 7:14, Zechariah 9:9, Isaiah 53: 4-5. 6. What does it mean for you that Jesus' Life Story was Predicted and Described Centuries Before His Birth?

  7. Read: "Now, there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man, for he was a doer of wonderful works; a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews, and many of the Gentiles. He was [the] Christ; and when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him;

  8. for he appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him; and the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day" – Josephus (Book "The Antiquities of the Jews," IXVIII, Chap. iii, sec. 3). 7. What does it mean to you that there are non-Christian, first century writings about who Jesus was in History?

  9. Read John 8:58, and then read Exodus 3:7-17 8. Has anyone ever said to you, “Jesus never actually calls himself God?” If so, how would you answer them based on these passages? Do these passages help you in understanding Jesus as God and not another prophet or man?

  10. Read Col. 1:15-20 9. Try to define the attributes of Jesus as listed in these verses. 10. If someone where to ask you tomorrow who was Jesus what would you say?
