  3. What is deforestation? Deforestation is the act of cutting down trees and forests. No trees = No oxygen. No trees = Less shade. No trees = No tree animals.

  4. Our action plan Our Action Plan is for the government to keep a record of every tree in their country, by marking each tree and keeping the record filed confidentially. Anyone who wishes to cut down a tree must seek permission from the government, and all planted trees must be registered. Failure to comply with the aforementioned conditions would instigate legal action.

  5. Our action plan Also, there would be a fine imposed on anyone who asked to cut down a tree, with an equal-amount bonus for anyone who registered to plant their own tree. All companies would be limited to cutting down only three trees per month, while all individuals would be limited to one.

  6. Why our action plan? The fine imposed on those who asked to cut down a tree would make people reluctant to cut down trees and eager to plant more trees, in order to receive the bonus. Also, through our Action Plan, the government can control, observe and monitor how many trees are cut down each month and by which companies/individuals. Our idea can also be carried out globally, and with a low cost.

  7. Stop deforestation! We believe our action plan will help prevent deforestation, and that deforestation can be stopped, if we all put a little more effort into it. So stop deforestation before it’s too late! The End
