My Career as a Nurse • A nurse is responsible for the treatment, safety, and recovery of a patients. • Need to finish college to be a registered nurse. • When nurses graduate they need to take a test to get a nursing license . • Reading, writing and math is important in the nursing career. • Nurses base salary is between 59,497- 72,211. so they get paid about 2,104.68 every two weeks depending what nurse are you going to be.

  3. Why People Should Take the Job • Other people should take this job if they really care about others and feel bad for others that you want to do something about it when they are hurt. • It doesn’t have to be adults it can be children as well as elderly.

  4. The College That I Went to • Temple university is a great school for students that want to be a registered nurse. • There are 34,000 students, 8 campuses, and 300 academic degree programs • Temple not only help with nursing career they have other subjects like law, business, music and more. • The tuition for private is $49,064 and $714 required fees. also a pa resident cost $40,060.

  5. My Apartment • I live at Sherwood crossing. that has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom. I pay $1,039 per month for rent. It is a very comfortable place to live with my son its not to big and not to small. • The apartment is located at 3400 red lion rd.

  6. My Car • My car is a 2000 Honda accord cpe lx. • The total purchase of the car is $4,994 and I pay $63.07 or more every month for 36 month. • My car insurance is $457 a month. • Gas is pretty expensive so my estimate is $25 a week.

  7. The History of Philadelphia • Philadelphia is founded by William penn on 1682. • There is a lot of places that has history in it for example Independence hall, Betsy ross house and more. • Famous people that we all know in Philadelphia is Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, and a lot more.

  8. The Climate in Philadelphia • In the summer the temp. is around the 70s so its not that hot but sometimes it can be at the 90s. • In the winter the temp. is around the 30s. • The warmest month of the year is July and the coldest is January. • Rainfall is pretty even though out the years. • IT WILL SOMETIME SNOW IN THE WINTER.

  9. My Social Life • I will go out sometime once a week and spend about $100. • I also need to buy groceries and other things I need for my baby boy so its about $200 or a little more. • For vacation I will go somewhere close and cheap but I will wait until I save enough money to do so.

Bills I Need To Pay • Gas: $134 a month • Water: $48 a month • Electric: $36 a month • Cable, phone, and internet: $100 a month • Cell phone: $49 a month • Daycare: $115 a week • Car insurance: $457 a month • House rent: $1,039 a month • Car monthly pay: $63 or more a month for 36 month • School loans: $1,300 a month
