Matthew 2:13-14 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.” And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt.

He will be called Lord Psalm 110:1 The Lord says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.” Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. He is the Son of God Psalm 2:7 I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Luke 3:22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” His Pre-existence Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

  8. He shall be called Immanuel (God with us) Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). Jesus is the reason of the season Merry Christmas!
