  2. Research-Where do you start? What are some great resources for research? *Educational sites—ending in .edu (sites for universities, educationally sponsered sites) * Databases –school circulation program, emedia, Pioneer * Sites that end in .gov or .org (example—Smithsonian)

What are some sites that are NOT great for research? • *Commercial sites—sites ending in .com—they try to sell things to you. • *Sites that are used for entertainment—youtube, facebook, twitter • *Sites that allow people who are not experts to contribute—pinterest, wikipedia, youtube • Sites that have a url with someone’s name
