Recommendations for ROS Vote: Multiple CSC Limit Studies and Hourly Calculations

The Wind Operations Task Force (WOTF) recommends that the Reliability Operating Standard (ROS) endorses the solution of conducting multiple CSC limit studies. ERCOT will enhance the frequency of calculating CSC limits to an hourly basis without needing any protocol changes. Currently, three out of five CSC studies (NtoS, StoN, NtoH) are completed, with two remaining. This initiative began on May 27 and requires posting outage and overload contingency pairs to ensure compliance with PRR 764.
