In November 2012, Yatin Trivedi proposed a new structure for the Education Activities Board (EAB) comprising three key committees: the Pre-University Education Coordinating Committee (PECC), the University Resources Committee (URC), and the Continuing Education Committee (CEC). This restructuring aims to streamline activities and enhance coordination among overlapping functions, particularly with the SEC, URC, and CEC. Despite these changes, SEC retains its role and funding without alteration. The proposed governance ensures effective representation while maintaining a collaborative framework for educational initiatives.

Proposed Structure of EAB • There will be three committees • Pre-University Education Coordinating Committee (PECC) • University Resources Committee (URC) • Continuing Education Committee (CEC) • SEC activities overlap with URC and CEC • SEC couldn't be in both • SEC overlaps a lot with URC (mini-grants) • Number of growing activities that fall in continuing education (Book project, Speaker's bureau, Webinars, IEEE-IEC Challenge, possible ITU internship, eZine, etc.). • SEC should be under one of the committees, but can have a member on another committee.
