  1. An interactive site for education leaders and leader candidates to communicate and work online to develop and grow education leaders.

  2. Scenario of Use for LeaderTracker (LT) • Low County School District is starting an education leadership partnership with Eastern Georgia College to develop and grow 10 potential Range County teacher leaders. • Pat Smith is a Elementary School teacher leader with great potential to be a successful principal in the near future but needs leadership certification and sharpened skills in a few areas. • A Beginning Leader Candidate Support Team has been created to work towards helping Pat achieve these growth and development goals.

  3. Group Creation & Members Every BLCST will be a group in the LeaderTracker™ (LT) system. Groups can also be formed around district candidates, university professors, leadership certification candidates, etc. This group works together around Pat Smith and her needs.

  4. Performer Portfolio Each performer has the option of building a portfolio documenting the work they’re doing as well as their education, strengths, positions, aspirations, etc.

  5. Performer Path Plan (PPP) Negotiation The BLCST works together to develop a Performer Path Plan for each performer that outlines the areas that need practice and improvement. LT is designed to facilitate the negotiation of the PPP. BLCST members each have an opinion on the needs of the performer.

  6. Performer Path Plan (PPP) Execution Once the BLCST group has agreed upon a plan of action for the performer to follow then the performer begins to practice and perform the modules or tasks assigned by the BLCST. LT easily tracks the progress of the performer through this work.

  7. Portfolio of Performer Path Plan (PPP) Work The performer can create a portfolio of the work they’ve completed with each module or task to show to their district and university representatives in their next job interview.

  8. LeaderTracker™ is an interactive tool for all BLCST members to collaborate and communicate with one another while documenting the leader’s work in progress. For questions, comments, or suggestions contact: Becky Shaver becky.shaver@glisi.org
