Map Library and Geographic Resources
The Kent State University Map Library, under the guidance of Liaison Librarian Edith Scarleto, offers the largest collection of flat maps in Ohio, over 270,000 in total. Visitors can access extensive resources, including USGS topographic maps, Sanborn Fire Insurance maps, and various nautical and aeronautical charts. The library also provides GIS data and a range of databases for geographic research. Open Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the library is a vital resource for students and researchers in geography and geology.
