This project utilizes a tethered balloon system for comprehensive atmospheric profiling, including temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and direction measurements up to 25 km altitude. The balloon, filled with helium and measuring approximately 3m in diameter, is equipped with a CLASP aerosol probe for detailed aerosol analysis and turbulence measurements at 10 Hz. Data collection incorporates 24V winch systems and integrates with sonic anemometers to enhance accuracy. Mean meteorological profiles and turbulence properties are derived from the measurements, providing crucial insights into atmospheric dynamics.
