In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, which resulted in the tragic loss of over 2,800 lives, the U.S. faced a critical question: Did these events justify military action in Iraq? President Obama remarked on the ongoing threat posed by terrorists, emphasizing the need to combat the Taliban to prevent further attacks. While initial emotions called for decisive action, the complexities of international relations and the consequences of the Iraq War continue to spark debate on whether the response was warranted or a misstep in U.S. foreign policy.
