1. Lead Engineer Produce World Chatteris Ltd £ competitive, plus excellent benefits We are currently looking to recruit an experienced multi-skilled engineer to fill the role of Lead Engineer. The main accountabilities of this permanent position are to effectively manage the day to day activities of the engineering staff, to provide breakdown and maintenance cover on all equipment, ensure all engineering contractors operate within the site health and safety management system and budgetary management of the engineering spend. Primary job duties will include working with relevant departments to achieve line improvements for efficiency/yield gains; implementing a sustainable PPM system; planning and undertaking project s as required,; management of health and safety within areas of direct control. Applicants must be able to demonstrate competency in the above areas and electrical knowledge and experience is essential.Applicants must be highly motivated with a flexible approach to work, have good interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of achievements. This role would suit an experienced engineer looking for their next challenge, or an experienced engineering team leader.
