  7. Contracts of service delivery on the local level In 2003 thirty eight LGs (from 131 participated in the survey) had contracts of service delivery with nonprofit organizations in following fields: • social services (14 LGs) • sport (13 LGs) • youth work (13 LGs) • culture (12 LGs)

  8. Recommendations to the public authorities on national and local level • to increase considerably the share of operational support of NPAs on the local and national level • to use long-term (min of 3 years) contracts for the provision of public services and use of operational support

  9. Recommendations to the nonprofit organizations • to find stable cooperation partners from the public and business sector • to offer new types of services besides the existing public services • to develop knowledge and skills in organizational management and economic activities
