  2. Definition • An Adjective is a word that qualifies a noun. It tells how much, how many or what kind a person, place or thing is.

  4. Adjective of Quality • An adjective that tells us about the kind of a person, a place or thing we are referring to is called an adjective of quality. Examples Mukesh Ambani is a wealthy man. I read and interesting book

  5. Adjective of Quantity • An adjective that tells how much of a thing we are referring to is called an adjective of quantity. Examples Ahmad ate the whole chapati. I drank all the milk in the cup.

  6. Adjective of Number • An adjective that tells the number of persons, animals or things we are referring to or in what order is called an adjective of number. Examples The boy have two balloons. Karan got only five marks in English.

  7. Demonstrative Adjectives • An adjective which is used to point out a person, an animal or thing is called a demonstrative adjective. Examples This is a pilot pen. That is my house.

  8. Interrogative Adjectives • An adjective used with a noun to ask a question is called an interrogative adjective. Examples Which car is yours? Whose house is this?

  9. Possessive Adjectives • An adjective showing possession or belonging is called a possessive adjective. Examples This is my water bottle. His coat got wet in the rain.
