Nodal Statement Formats • ERCOT presented Nodal Settlement Statement design concepts for review & discussion • Summary data – Statement formats and content issues • Statement amounts will be shown for operating day/charge type – summary level per Settlement Run per Statement Recipient. • Statements discussed: - QSE Day Ahead Statements - QSE Real Time Statements - CRR Day Ahead Statements - CRR Real Time Statements

  3. Settlements and Data Acquisition Working Group(SDAWG) • SDAWG – Submitted NPRR078, Simplifying the dispute process. Following lengthy discussion, it was moved, seconded, and unanimously approved by COPS with all market segments present, that: • COPS supports NPRR078 submitted by SDAWG, and; • COPS recommended language for Section 9.14.6 • ERCOT has subsequently filed comments • SDAWG to work with Staff and consolidate comments

Settlements and Data Acquisition Working Group(SDAWG) Nodal Impacts • Reviewing Commercial Operations Data Extract Changes • Settlement Calendar • Load, Generation and Settlements and Billing Extracts • DLF, TLF, UFE reports Small Generation – Settlement Issues (RMS) • HB 3693 – Sections 24 & 26

Data Extract Working Group(DEWG) • Met on 7/30 and 8/27 • Reviewed staff response to extract issues • Identified root cause of each incident since 7/30 • Corrective action taken & IT established a developmental team to focus on system stabilization • Established 3 priority levels for reports/extracts • Focus on developing a SLA to address: • Timeliness / Completeness / Accuracy / Availability

Profile Working Group (PWG) • Annual Validation Update – On schedule • Round 2 – Load research sample meters • Installations to be completed by 6/30/08 • New procurement process & meter installations have begun • Reminder – LPGRR018 Default Residential Profile Segment for new ESIIDs • LPGRR effective date, 5/01/2007 • TDSPs have six months to change systems • Implementation date is 11/01/2007

  7. Profile Working Group (PWG) PWG submitted to COPS and COPS recommends to TAC approval of LPGRR020 “Market guide revision conforming the Load Profiling Guide to Protocol Section 21 and other ERCOT Market Guides” VOTE http://www.ercot.com/mktrules/issues/lpgrr/000-024/022/index.html

  8. PRR720 TRE Fee Methodology • Following Discussion and review, COPS set up an Ad Hoc Committee to work with Staff to: • Simplify the calculation of TREF and billing. • Have personnel other than Settlements perform the billing and segregate TRE activity from ISP Protocols. • Implement the change in process with the least intrusion to existing processes. • Develop a process for reconciling TRE costs vs TREF collections. • ERCOT Legal, ISO, and TRE Staff, are involved in the discussions with COPS Ad Hoc members – Process is proceeding as we resolve and clarify issues.
