This presentation outlines our collective commitment to School-wide Positive Behavioral Supports and Interventions (PBIS). Participants will engage in slide presentations that highlight essential ideas, review handouts, and participate in conversations and a gallery walk to foster collaboration. The need for effective strategies is underscored by research, which reveals that punitive measures are the least effective response to violence in schools (Gottfredson, 1997; Lipsey, 1992). Together, we can create a positive learning environment for all.
