Once you are asleep due to anesthesia, a small tube (catheter)is inserted in order to collect your urine. In this concern, a small needle is used to fill your abdomen with carbon dioxide gas and this gas would keep the abdominal wall away from your organs. The gas would also reduce the risk of injury to a great extent. While performing the surgery your surgeon would make a small cut in your navel and then would insert the laparoscope. This will perfectly transmit images to a screen, which will give your doctor the clear view of your organs. Instruments will then be inserted through these holes and then surgery is performed by using the laparoscope. After this once the procedure is over, all the instruments are then removed.
