PathNet – Anatomic Pathology • PathNet • Name of the Laboratory solutions that Cerner Provides • Cerner first started out with Laboratory 1984 • PathNet Anatomic Pathology • An automated online system for reporting upon samples within such disciplines as Histology, Cytology and Autopsy . • Some of many benefits. • Automates the workflow within the pathology department, improving efficiency, accuracy and quality of service • Improved resulting and reporting (Synoptic Reporting) • Cytology follow-up tracking • ‘Hot Key’ resulting in cytology • Images within reports • Improved storage tracking of tissue
