  4. Imagine… • That you find an old bottle on a beach and open it. Out pours a swirling column of smoke that assumes a surprising shape. What would be your reaction? Your expectations?

  5. Arabic Literature: Ever hear of… • Sindbad? • Ali Baba? • Aladdin? • The Thousand and One Nights? • All the above are Arabian works that have become integral parts of Western literary and popular culture.

  6. Magical genie?? • If you had a magical genie with 3 wishes, what would you wish for and why? (Cannot ask for more wishes!) Mrs. Peterson’s 3 wishes: • $$$ --live in comfort for the rest of my life • That me and my loved ones never get ill…ie. Cancer, heart problems..etc • “world peace”
