EPIC-PN Response Matrix Update: Known Problems in PN6.6 and SAS6.0

This document summarizes updates on known problems related to the EPIC-PN response matrix during the SAS6.0 meeting held by Frank Haberl. Key issues include redistribution at 400 eV, flat shelf observations, spectral residuals at Si and Au edges used for gain fits, and specific case studies on sources like PKS 2155 and MKN 421. The report outlines improvements in gain at the Au edge, analysis of quantum efficiency around the Si-K edge, and adjustments to mirror effective areas, highlighting significant c²/dof improvements.
