The Southwark Clinical Commissioning Committee (SCCC) has established a framework for ongoing patient engagement through public meetings and group collaborations. Since July 2011, meetings have been held to include patient representatives from Locality Patient Participation Groups (PPGs), Community Action Southwark, and the Forum for Equality and Human Rights. The Enhancing Patient Experience Group (EPEG) will convene six times a year to monitor patient experiences and advise on engagement strategies. The initiative aims to ensure that patient voices influence local health commissioning through active participation.
