One of the biggest problems with anything mechanical that has moving parts is that nothing lasts forever. Those moving parts are going to wear over time and will need replacing. There are also parts that come into contact with each other and need oiling. They need servicing. Eventually, there comes a point where so many parts of the mechanism are so worn that there is no point in continuing to replace them, and then the whole unit or whatever it is goes to the scrap heap.<br>

There are also parts that come into contact with each other and need oiling. They need servicing. Eventually, there comes a point where so many parts of the mechanism are so worn that there is no point in continuing to replace them, and then the whole unit or whatever it is goes to the scrap heap. There can also be the situation where an item becomes obsolete because newer and better, or more technologically advanced versions have been created, and so even though a unit is working well it may be dumped in favour of investing in the latest one. This happens to everything sooner or later. A good example is transport – cars, motorbikes, lorries, vans, buses, even aircraft and ships. However, before the point is reached at which they need to be scrapped for whatever reason, they still need replacement parts along the way. “Big Carl” All right, there are not nearly as many cranes in existence as there are cars on the roads, but if you are in the know, it is surprising just how many pieces of lifting equipment are in use every day. That’s over twice the height of St Paul’s Cathedral at 365 feet! Not only that, but Big Carl needs regular servicing and spare parts too. We don’t supply parts for that one, but we do supply all of the parts that you need for keeping cranes safe and working in the UK. So, for instance, you might need a flatform cable for your crane. We can supply you with a flatform cable for a crane, or for any other equipment that needs one, in lengths of as little as 5m or less, or if you prefer in drums of up to 500m.
