Rethink– what mission priorities we have in DFW for the 21st Century and how that intersects with global diaspora missions Reengage - as an alliance committed to reaching the UPG and UUPG peoples of DFW by serving better together people on the move Redouble - our efforts to mobilize DFW to reach DFW through united prayer and strategic collaboration to reach diasporas Refocus– attention on greatest opportunities and largest areas of need – inform, equip, and resource Recalibrate– by helping to equip local congregations to see and respond to the global harvest field that is in our communities Because the World has come to Texas!

  20. What We’re About? Prayer – value prayer foremost in all we do knowing we need the Lord’s guidance, the Holy Spirits power and Christ’s presence Networking – value connecting with other DFW Diaspora Mission Leaders who have a shared interest in reaching DFW Learning – value being part of a learning community knowing there is wisdom in a multitude of counselors Partnering – value strategic partnering for serving better together knowing many hands make light work Mobilizing – valuemission mobilization which moves people to action knowing the harvest if plentiful but the workers are few. Diversity – value all others knowing that the Kingdom is multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, multi-denominational and Christ-centered “I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” John 17:23

Leadership Team – DFWDMA leadership team is open Roundtable Meetings – DFWDMA will convene a general Diaspora Roundtables in May & October Affinity Groups - citywide ongoing meetings of various affinity groups – i.e. refugee, international students, Muslim outreach, church planting, etc. National Diaspora Mission Consultation –1st National Diaspora Mission Consultation September 17th Ethnic Embrace DFW –a vision to see every people group of DFW prayed for and engaged with the Gospel

Ethnic Embrace DFW Ethnic Embrace DFW is an ongoing project to mobilize DFW to reach the Diaspora Peoples of DFW who don’t know Jesus : Research – commit to understand the Diaspora People Groups around our churches and in our cities – 5 Step On-Ramp Goal: 25 church partners in 2013 Prayer – commit to raise awareness and equip people to pray for the UPG and UUPG peoples groups of DFW - Ethnic Embrace DFW prayer guide, Adopt a Mosque. Discipleship - commit to develop ongoing discipleship opportunities to teach diaspora mission and cross-cultural ministry – IHOPE Training, Perspectives, Panorama, T4T Evangelism – commit to the Jesus Film distribution project with a vision to see every diaspora lost person receive the Gospel in their heart language. Goal : distribute 25,000 Jesus Films in 2013 Church Planting – commit to be part of a process of seeing new culturally relevant churches started amongst DFW UPGs. Until All Have Heard!
