Edgar was a gambler and he lost so much money his guardian refused to let him keep going to school. • The poem named raven was a winning short story in 1845. • A lot of Edgar’s great work was made with sadness and terror • He admired William Shakespeare a Alexander Pope because of there great writing skills. • Edgar was poor and lied about his age so he could join the army.
