  1. Einstein'slife.

  2. PART ONE. In 1914 Einstein left Germany heading for Berlin. He left behind his wife and his children. He wanted to get away from Germany’s war aims and he joined a pacifist group. Pacifists are people against war and violence. In 1933 Einstein was unwilling to live in Germany under the Nazi government (I don’t blame him) so he joined an institute for study in Princeton, New Jersey. He stopped his pacifism believes to warn the political leaders about the Germans. He informed president F.D Roosevelt that the Germans might try to create nuclear bombs and use them. The year after that Einstein became an American citizen.

  3. Reasonably fun fact!: When Einstein’s body was cremated he left his brain for science research. It turned out the inferior parietal lobe was 15% wider than normal. That area is responsible for mathematical thought and the imagery of movement. Not so inferior now is it?

  4. In WWII the amount of Jewish refugees was overwhelming. Einstein was informed that the Nazi’s were constructing a new weapon. It was called the atomic bomb. When it was said that the only way to stop Hitler would be to take military action, Einstein rethought his views on pacifism and decided to help. He sent a message to President Frankie (or Franklin, whatever you choose) and told him about the Nazis and the fact that they were constructing a bomb.

  5. Reasonably fun fact!: In WWII both sides of the war, wore gas mask. However neither side used gas bombs! Talk about a waste of time. Although you never know. Back then they could’ve been all the rage?

  6. PART TWO. Einstein settled in Berlin and became a member of the Prussian science academy before WWI in 1914. The German nationalist were irritated at the fact he was Jewish and also his views on pacifism. Einstein’s theories were rejected and thought of as erroneous Jewish theory. 2’000 books were burned outside the Berlin opera house. Albert was no genius to them. To them he was no more than a Jew.

  7. Scientists didn’t believe Einstein’s theories, they didn’t think he experimented or observed but used mathematical reasoning instead. Later on in 1919 people used his theories. Some dude (Arthur Eddington) confirmed these theories by his measurements. American accused him of being a communist. He never admitted that he was a communist. He was thought to be a communist spy and was watched by the FBI (talk about jumpy). Einstein was thought of as a security risk and dangerous to their democracy and freedom of expression.

  8. Reasonably fun fact!: Einstein married his cousin! If he is that smart he should know better!!!

  9. And now for my opinion, you know what they say, every opinion counts (especially mine because I’m COOL!). Every one has herd of Einstein (well… Everybody who’s anybody). If somebody does something clever you’ll get called either Einstein or a nerd. Famous people are known for what they did that made them famous (duh…) As for Einstein, he is known for being smart/clever. Einstein isn’t my favorite person I’ll admit, but he isn’t my least favorite either (my least favorite goes along the lines of George bush…). I learnt a lot about Einstein. I never knew he was Jewish, I never knew he helped the American president, I never knew he married his cousin (EEWWW!). I’m sure there’s a lot more to find out about him, but from what I know, he is a pretty amazing dude. Jakub.
