Methodologies and the Guidebook • Technical methodologies and Target Methods are to be used to develop base daily per capita water use, urban water use target, and interim urban water use target • Technical methodologies and Target Methods were released as a separate document on October 1, but are an integral part of 2010 UWMPs

  16. Methodologies and the Guidebook • There are four steps to developing baselines and targets. • STEP 1: Determine base daily per capita water use • STEP 2: Determine urban water use target • STEP 3: Confirm urban water use target • STEP 4: Determine interim urban water use target

UWMP Online Submittal • Will enable online submittal of UWMP-required data • Will enable water suppliers to download entered data into Excel format for inclusion in the UWMP • Will maintain information to support future UWMP submittals • Facilitates and prioritizes DWR review • Supports development of a DWR data base of statewide water system information

UWMP Online Submittal • Is referred to as DOST (DWR Online Submittal Tool) • Will be accessed on the DWR website • Is being developed in conjunction with the PWSS online submittal application • Is the first step in a standardized reporting tool • Is planned to be available for the February workshops
