We are thrilled to kick off a new school year at Goshen Creek Elementary! Our first-grade team is eager to support your child's growth and learning. Please inform your child's teacher about their after-school plans. Key dates include Labor Day (No School on September 2nd) and the end of the first six weeks on October 4th. We will establish classroom rules and expectations to foster a positive environment. This week, we’ll focus on listening skills, phonics, writing, mathematics, and science topics related to weather patterns.

First Grade Friends’ News August 26 - 30, 2013 Welcome Back to School!!!!! We are so excited to start a new year at Goshen Creek Elementary! We can’t wait to get to know your child and help them continue to grow and learn! Please be sure your teacher knows how your child will be getting home from school each day! Dates: *Labor Day ~ September 2nd ~ No School *End of the 1st six weeks~ Friday, October 4th *Columbus Day October 7th ~ No School Behavioral Plans: Establishing classroom rules and expectations the first week of school is crucial! It sets the tone of how the class will run and let's the students know what's expected of them early in the year. Please talk to your child throughout the week about the basic classroom rules that their class is going to follow and why we chose those specific rules.
