The 2013-2014 District Grants program, chaired by Gayle Carter and later by Malcolm Kennedy, offers clubs the opportunity to apply for matching grants from a total fund of $92,000. Eligible clubs can request between $500 and $10,000 to support their projects, with the requirement to prioritize requests due to limited funding. All grant proposals must be submitted online by August 31, 2014, followed by a formal application by December 1, 2014. Clubs need a separate bank account for each grant and have 18 months to complete their projects after approval.
