High Edge Island is renowned for its abundant resources such as gold, coal, and pineapples, with exports reaching international markets like the United States and Saudi Arabia. Gold is the island's most valuable export, primarily sourced from the mountains. Pineapples thrive solely in Sandy Side City. While imports are minimal, they include gasoline, cars, electronics mostly from Japan, and various metals like steel and titanium. The island aims to enhance its economy with a new plastic factory to support local manufacturing.

Exports High Edge Island exports most of its resources, gold, coal, and wood. Its exports go to many different locations. A few of these locations are; The United States, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, most of the islands in the Polynesian Triangle, and Greenland. High Edge Islands highest demand is gold, which is the rarest mineral to come across here, but it is more common here than it is anywhere else. The gold is only found in the mountain. The most common resource we have here ispineapples. Pineapples grow only in Sandy Side City. The coal is shipped to almost all of the locations mentioned in the first paragraph and is found in the mountain.
Imports High Edge Island does not need much from other countries but there are few things it does import aregasoline for cars, the cars themselves, and generators for the times there are power outages. Most of High Edge Islands imports are electronics and most of those are from Japan, but there is not anything that Japan importsfrom us. Other things that we get imported into the island besides electronics are metals. We have gold ,but other metals are hard to find. It is surprising that one of the most rare metals to find in the world is the only metal available on the island. Some of the metals imported to High Edge Island are steel, silver, titanium, and iron. High Edge Island melts down the metals and makes things out of them. Some of the things High Edge Island makes are rulers and metal protractors. High Edge has a lot of different plastics imported also but is in the process of building its own plastic factory.
