  2. LATAR BELAKANG • Kemajuan Teknologi Informasi, • Meningkatnya Pengguna Teknologi Wireless di Bandung, • Keterbatasan Resources pada ISM Band, • Kebersamaan dalam mengelola ISM Band

TUJUAN • WLI Bandung bertujuan untuk melakukan usaha bagi terwujudnya pengelolaan sumber daya frekuensi untuk keperluan komunikasi data secara adil dan sesuai ketentuan teknis yang berlaku, sebagai bagian dari proses transformasi sosial menuju tatanan masyarakat Indonesia yang berkemampuan mengatur dirinya sendiri.

  4. SEJARAH PENDIRIAN • Pertemuan Komunitas Wireless di Malang, November 2001 • Pertemuan Komunitas Wireless Bandung di PPAU ITB, 8 Desember 2001 • Pertemuan-pertemuan lanjutan

KEGIATAN • Sosialisasi peraturan pemerintah dan ketentuan-ketentuan teknis berkaitan dengan penggunaan perangkat wireless network. • Workshop/pelatihan tentang penggunaan perangkat wireless network. • Biro konsultasi (Komisi Teknis) dalam penggunaan perangkat wireless network. • Riset seputar teknologi wireless network. • Kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak.
