Goals / Objectifs • Présenter l’information des Comités de ESR que doivent comprendre les problèmes d’étique • Définir clairement les règles que les participants doivent suivre • Simplifier les règles pour les participants • To present the information that RSF Committees need to understand the ethical issues • To define clearly the rules that participants must follow • To make it easy for participants to follow the rules

NESC/CNES • Responsable de la veille de recherche sur les humains et les animaux aux ESR, ESPC et aux Niveaux Nationaux. • Réviser les projets comportant des défis soumis par le Comité D’Éthique d’ESR • Responsiblefor the oversight of human and animal research at RSF, CWSF and National Levels. • Reviews challenging projects submitted by RSF Ethics Committees

  5. Ethics: What Types of Research?Éthiques: QuelSorte de Recherche? Recherche Animale Animal Research • Invertebrates may be used without much restriction • Vertebrates may be used only under conditions.

  6. Vertebrates & CephalopodsAnimauxvertébrés et céphalopodes Seulement Ces Projets sont Permis: • Observation des animaux • Essais de comportements avec renforcements positifs. Sans Stress • Projets faits sous la supervision du personnel de recherche • Les autres projets vont Échouer La Qualification pour ESPC. Only These Projects are Allowed: • Observation of animals • Behavioural experiments with positive rewards. No Stress • Projects conducted under the supervision of research personnel • Others will Fail To Qualify for CWSF.

Ethics Review CommitteeComité de la révisiond’éthiques • Members (1-3 people): • Ethics Consultant • Veterinarian • Health care professional • RSF Chief Judge • Membres (1 à 3 personnes): • Conseiller d’éthique • Vétérinaire • Professionnel de santé • Juge en chef pour ESR • Doivent être informés des règlements d’éthiques de SJC Must be knowledgeable about YSC Ethics Rules
