This report presents findings from a face-to-face quantitative survey conducted among a representative sample of 2,117 adults in the UK. The research, carried out between March 28 and April 1, 2008, utilized Random Probability Sampling controlled by quotas. Respondents participated in interviews at their homes using handheld computers. The study, designed on behalf of the Identity and Passport Service, reveals significant insights into the prevalence of identity documents, with UK passports and driving licenses being the most commonly held forms of identification.
