Poinsettia with Root Rot • At first glance the plants in the following slide may look like they may need to be watered. • If you were to remove the plant from the pot you would see that the soil is already very wet. • These plants are suffering from root rot and have been isolated from the rest of the crop. • Root rot is a fungal disease that is easily spread.
