3. 2010 GCSE Highlights GCSEs at new records of 49 and 93%. 15 gifted and talented pupils, an equal number of girls and boys achieved 5 or more A or A* grades with many achieving 10 or more. 36% of Sociology pupils achieved A* or A. 32% of Geography pupils attained A*/A 21% of all pupils achieved an A or an A* in Religious studies.� 100% of pupils taking Triple science ( Biology, Physics and Chemistry) got at least a C grade also high A*/A grades achieved. Outstanding A* � C subject results include 87% in Art, 92% in Geography, 100% in Music, 74% in RS and 75% in Sociology� and 76% in Textiles. 96% of all young people at the school got 5A*- G including English and Maths.

14. The English Department KS4 Students will be studying the new GCSE specification.
